According to figures published by WorldAtlas and Statista, Indonesia is the world’s largest coconut producer that produces around 17 million metric tons in 2020, growing at an average annual rate of 2.05%. Coconuts in Indonesia are cultivated from nearly every province in the country, mounting a total of 3.7 million hectares of coconut palm plantations. The vast majority of more than 90% of the plantations are made up of smallholdings.

Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelagic country, comprising of more than 17,000 islands that has argillaceous soil, rich with organic matter such as mountain ashes. It also has an almost entirely tropical climate, positioned strategically along the equator. Thus, the soil, climate and overall condition in Indonesia is ideal for coconut growth capable of producing higher yield.

Coco Peat

Coco Peat is a byproduct of coconut husk in the form of powdery material. There are two types of coco peat based on Electrical Conductivity, Low EC and High EC.

Coco Fibre

Coco Fibre is another byproduct of coconut husk in the form of fibrous material. It is mostly used in products such as mattresses, ropes, brushes, and many more. It is also commonly used as an alternative to foams, due to its superior heat resistant, anti-allergenic and anti-flea properties.
